The American Society for Theatre Research submission process is now open for the 2020 Conference: Theatre and Performance After Repetition.
- How do we examine theatre from different theories, methodologies and practices of repetition?
- How have new media technologies changed how we think of repetition and performance?
- What are the limits of repetition for comprehending theatre history?
- How does repetition reproduce institutional exclusion and segregate knowledge production?
The 2020 Program Committee invites you to explore the theories and ideas of repetition and to please consider submitting a proposal to convene a Working Session or present a Plenary Session paper.
